Unusual herding activity has been reported in the foothills of Seir.  Large numbers of animals have been seen heading straight for Edom.  Each herd or flock seems to be extremely healthy, with many young animals present.  So far, there have been camels, goats, sheep, cattle, and donkeys.  Those driving the animals say they work for Jacob Isaacson, who is relocating his successful business to Gilead.  They are hoping to find Esau Isaacson, his older brother.

The police are on alert for hostilities erupting between the two brothers.  They are aware that Esau Isaacson has gone out with 400 men to meet the approaching entourage.  Jacob Isaacson’s company looks like it consists of several children under the age of 14, plus domestic help and animal caretakers.  There is no sign of armed forces with the younger brother.  However, residents of Edom have been warned to stay off the streets until further notice.

Jacob Isaacson agreed to an interview on the condition that a message of reconciliation be passed on to his brother, Esau.  Jacob Isaacson says he is glad to be returning to this area after a 20 year absence.  He describes a return journey that began with his family and employees being pursued by an angry mob as they left Paddan-aram.  Then, he came face-to-face with a divine envoy.  Following that, he was accosted in the night by a supernaturally strong man, who dislocated his leg.  He says he is ready for a break from all the excitement, and plans to settle down and build a house.  When queried, he concedes that two wives, two concubines, and 11 children may not be the recipe for a quiet life.
